FITNESS TEST EXAMINATION

FITNESS TEST EXAMINATION

The Security Cadre Training Centre is having a Fitness Test early in the morning at 6:30 AM. Students go where the test happens. The officer and trainers get everything ready and explain how the test works. There’s a clinic there with a nurse.

The test starts at 8 AM with five candidates (security guards) at a time.

Test 1 – BEEP TEST:
Candidates run from one red line to another, then back when they hear a beep. They have three tries to do it right. They need to reach a certain level to pass. If they don’t pass this, they can’t do the other tests.

Test 2 – HORIZONTAL JUMP TEST:
After passing the running test, candidates jump a certain distance. They get two more tries if they don’t pass.

Test 3 – SLED PUSH TEST:
Candidates push a weight for a short distance within a time limit. They can try again if they need to.

Test 4 – SLED PULL TEST:
Candidates pull a weight for a short distance within a time limit. They can try again if they need to.

Test 5 – SPRINTING TEST:
If they fail one of the previous tests (except running), they get a last chance to do a fast run.

To do the test:

Step 1: Get the application form
Step 2: Fill it out and email it
Step 3: Bring the form, proof of payment, a photo, and ID to the SCTC Office.

The test costs AED 100, can be in English or Arabic, takes one day in the morning, and you have to pass the final test to pass overall.
